Birthday Cake Bear

Good Evening All,

I hope you have all had a nice day today. I took Charlie to his little playgroup this afternoon and he enjoyed himself, he even made a little friend. He is in bed now so I thought I would jump on here and share a couple of cards with you. So here is the first one:

I have used a Forever Friends bear for this one from my Docrafts CD. I have decoupaged the little cutie to make her pop off the card a bit. The theme over at One Stop Craft Challenge is pink, green, white and an easel card so I combined that with the Sketch from Sketch Saturday to give the basis of the card. The designer papers are also from the Forever Friends CD and I have backed everything onto silver mirror card from my stash. I have added some lace from my stash and some funky Anitas ribbon. I have had loads of these ribbons for years but I never use them. But out they came and on it went. I used my petal punch punch to make the flowers and added some silver pearls for the centres and some bling flourishes. I punched some butterflies using my Martha Stewart punch and added pearls to each body.I have finished the card with some more little pearls and a handtyped sentiment.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Fab n Funky - Polka Dots
One Stop Craft Challenges - Pink, Green, White + Easel
Quirky Crafts - Handmade Flowers and Ribbon
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
