Cute and Fluffy

And here is my last card of the day:

I have used a cute kitty from Sliekje and coloured him with Promarkers. All the papers and the sentiment are from my new docrafts Boofle cd. There are some fab bits on it, I have'nt really had a chance to play with it properly yet but these papers fitted this card perfectly so I had to print them. The little flowers are also from the cd I have just cut them out layered them up and put a little brad in the centre. I have then embellished with some buttons and a bow from my stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Footy Star

Here is my second card of the day:

The little footy star image and sentiment are from one of my free craft cds. I have coloured them with my Promarkers. I decided to be a bit daring on this one and tried blending the colours. I am quite pleased with it but I think more practice is in order. The papers are from Dovecraft and I have mat and layered with card from my stash. I have added some ribbon, Candi and a little football button from my stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Charisma Cardz - Blue, Black and White

Congratulations, A New Baby Girl

Good Morning all,

I hope you all had a good weekend. The weather here was horrible so we stayed at home and I managed to get some crafting time. I have three cards to share with you today so here is the first:

I have no idea where I got this image from so I am so sorry to who ever created it but it is so cute. I have coloured it in with Promarkers and got to use my new fine nibs. They are great, I thought they might bleed but they don't and they make it so much easier to colour the little details. I have used my spellbinders circles and scalloped circles to cut out the image and mount it. The heart paper is from Dovecrafts Basic pack. I thought it matched really well with image. The little sentiment was from the internet and reads:

Precious one, so small,so sweet
Dancing in on Angel's feet
Straight from Heaven's brightest star
What a miracle you truly are.

I have cut this out with my spellbinders label die. I have added a bit of ribbon which I ruffled to give a different effect. The flowers are created from my petal punch sets and a little pearl in the centre finishes them off. a few more pearls and its finished.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Totally Gorjuss - Congratulations
Passion For Promarkers - Die Cuts
Joanna Sheen - Flower Power
Bearly Mine - Baby Days

Dragons are Cool

Afternoon all, It's almost the weekend and what a lovely day hmmm maybe if you are a flower. It has been raining all day. Little man was not impressed as we got wet getting from the car to the house but oh well.

I have had a busy day today and last night and have made my DT cards for 2 cute ink so check back tomorrow for one and Tuesday for the sneak peak of the other one. I have also made this one:

I have used a little image from Dustin Pike. I used to follow the blog a while back but when I took my break to have Charlie they moved and I have just found them again. I have coloured the little guy with my promarkers to match the papers. The papers are from an old scrapbook kit that never got used so I chopped them up for my cards. The chipboard circles are from the same kit and I just added a little red button from my stash. The sentiment and stars are peeloffs.

Wedding Day Wishes

Evening everyone,

I have had a very busy day with little man as his naps have been all over the place but I have managed to get a little crafting time. So here is my latest creation:

I have used a precious moments image coloured with Promarkers. To get a softer look I have used the blender pen. I have gone for a shabby chic look with some papers from my stash. I have then added some fabric stuff that I found in a drawer. I am not really sure what it is, it looks a bit like Angel hair but it feels different. I have no idea where it came from either but it worked on the card so on it went. The flower is made of a fabric part coloured with promarker, a paper part and a little button from my button box. I have typed the sentiment in Craft Artist and rounded the edges to compliment the image. I finished the card with some little pearls and cream Candi's.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Wedding
Charisma Cardz - Shabby Chic

Let's Go Shopping

Here is the second of yesterda'ys cards and this one is for the girls:

The image is from another colouring page, I think it's a Bratz girl or something like that. I have coloured her with promarkers to make her look all pretty and girlie. The papers are again from Dovecraft but they fitted so well with the image I just had to use them. I have then added a little metal sentiment. This is quite a simple one but I tried laying some embellishments on and it looked to much so I decided to keep it simple.

Boys Toys

Good Morning all,

I am up bright and early this morning 5:45am actually all thanks to my little bundle of joy who is now fast asleep again. I thought I would quickly pop yesterdays cards on as who knows what today is going to be like now.

So here is the first one and its something for the boys:

I have used a precious moments colouring page, I love these images and they are so easy to colour. This little boy has been coloured with Promarkers. I have used the blender pen as it gives a softer feel to the colouring. The papers are from Dovecraft, I seem to be using lots of my Dovecraft stuff at the moment. I have then added some texture in the shape of plastic, metal and wood with the buttons. A little sentiment typed by myself and three little gems (also coloured with promarkers as I did'nt have the right colours) and a little card was formed.

I have used an image from my Docrafts CD and the papers are from my stash. The sentiment is a stamp that I have had for ages. I have used my glossy accents to make the scallop glossy and I have used an embossing folder to add some texture to the backing. I have embellished with some little pink pearls and a pink bow. For Someone Very Special

Hi All

I have had a very moving few days and am feeling a bit low today. Although I am having a rough time at the moment I am thankful for all the special people in my life. I have created this card for a very special man who helped us with our dogs when we were having a few problems with howling when they were left while we were out at work.

The photos are of my two dogs enjoying the countryside during one of our many walks in the lovely fields around our home. The poem is written by me.

Cherryish The Day

Hi all, It's finally the weekend yay.

Here is my latest creation:

I have used the I Cherryish You image from 2 Cute Ink and coloured it with promarkers. I then went with an all white theme so raided my stash for all things white and found doilies, lace, gems, buttons, bows, brads, flowers and pearls and they all went onto the card. I took inspiration from the image title and printed my own sentiment. I played around with the layout of this card for ages and finally decided on an easel card as it seems to show all the elements better than a standard card.

It's a Boy

Happy Friday 13th all, I hope you have had lucky days rather than unlucky ones. My day has been pretty good really and I have managed to get this little card done:

I have used an image from the internet, it is a colouring page that I have just shrunk down. I coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are all from my stash. I have added some buttons, Bows and Brads in matching colours. I then used my petal pairs punches to make little flowers and added some glass drops to the centres. My Sister has her 20 week scan on Wednesday so if it is a boy this little card will be on it's way to her.

It's Party Time

Things are on the up, Well Charlie seems to be on the mend at last. I managed a little card today although it is quite a simple one it has turned out ok. So here it is:

I went for a little walk on the wild side with this one and coloured the image with water colour pencils. It was my first go at using them and although by no means is it perfect it worked out better than I thought it would. The image was from a CD I got free with a magazine. The paper is from my little stash, It came all the way from Canada. The Ribbons were a free gift from a magazine that have been laying in the drawer for ages. I have then added the little gems and Candi to embellish. I have used a little metal Happy Birthday tag for the sentiment. I keep going back to these as they work with anything. Note to self must use other sentiments.

Well I finally got my Choccy and I feel a bit sick today as I think I over done it a bit. Or maybe I am getting Charlie's bug ahh.

Butterflies and blooms

Well today has been both good and bad. Charlie is still ill bless him so I have had a bit of a hard day with him. He is sleeping now and seems to be slowly on the mend. Hopefully tomorrow I will have my happy little boy back.

On a good note, I was chosen as a new DT member for 2 Cute Ink Design Team. I am so excited as it's my first DT.

Anyway onto the first of todays cards. I set myself a challenge with this one. I have had a Pepper and Friends kit for ages and have really struggled with it. So as the challenge on Charisma Cardz this week is Chipboard/Stickers I decided to use the kit as it contains chipboard and stickers. So my challenge to use the kit and only the kit (Plus a sentiment as there were none in the kit.)

So here it is:

The Flower circle and ribbon are both stickers and the birdhouse and butterfly are chipboard.

A Special Friend

Wow what a day it has been today. Charlie has been so ill bless him. He has had a horrible sickness bug and has really not been himself. At the time of writing this he is laying asleep next to me. I have'nt really had much time to be creative today but after sitting with Charlie all day I got a tiny bit of time to make a card and here is what I came up with. Sorry if the picture is not very good but it's the best I could do in the light I have. If it's really bad I will change it tomorrow.

I have used a precious moments image and coloured it with promarkers. I used the blender pen to give a softer look. I have gone for the Deep Purple, Bright Green and Cream colour theme from Colour Create. The papers were from a pack I got years ago while on holiday in Canada. The craft stores over there are fab. I have distressed them by tearing the edges. The purple card is also from my stash and I have embossed it using an embossing folder. I have embellieshed using gems, Pearls, Buttons, Lace, String and flowers all from my stash. The little sentiment was from a pack I have had for ages and the metal buttons have a distressed look ( Well they look like they have been well used but I think its just a distressed effect.)

I have used a Precious Moments colouring page and coloured it with promarkers. I have used the limited edition spring promarkers and I love them. The colours are so soft. The papers are from a Dovecraft Back To Basics pad. I used some pretty flowers, gems and buttons to embellish and cut the lettering from a sizzix alphabet using my Bigshot.

Pretty Patchwork

Here is the second card from last night and I think this will be going off to my cousin for her Birthday in a couple of weeks.

I have used the Freebie image from Bugaboo and coloured it with Promarkers. The patchwork paper is from Nitwits and came on a Free CD from a magazine. I have also used some pretty green vellum that I have had for a while. The sentiment was just typed in Craft Artist and colour matched to the patchwork. I have used some little silver stickers that look like brads, some pink Candi and some Gems. The Sketch is from Quirky Crafts and I think works perfectly.

A Summer with Friends

Afternoon all, I had a busy evening last night and managed to make two cards which I don't think I have managed to do since Charlie was born.

The first one has a summer feel to it in the hope that the nice weather will soon return.

I found the image on a colouring page site and thought she was perfect for a Summer theme with her pretty dress. I have coloured her with promarkers. The papers are from my ever growing stash, I am pretty sure they were from a Papermania collection but I could be wrong. The little saying was from a pack of acetate quotes that I have had for years and the little lace border was from an Ebay bargain. I then used some buttons, Candis and gems to embellish.
