Clean and Simple

This card is for the Fab n Funky challenge of clean and simple. I have just used some punched baubles hanging from some peeloffs and a little gold tag.

Happy Birthday Manga style

I am so pleased with how this one has turned out I was a bit worried as I coloured the image in then thought ahhhh what am I going to use to make the card. After having a rummage through my stash of crafty bits I found all these tiny buttons, Pretty flowers, Brads and ribbon that matched the image perfectly. I have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the Manga theme from Secret Crafter.

Best Friends

What better friend does anyone have then a trusty dog I know my two are always there for me when I need them so when I saw this weeks challenge of Best Friends from Passion For Promarkers I went straight to this image. I have coloured it with various coloured promarkers and my blender pen to give a softer look. I have also used the distressed theme from Aly's Sunday Challenge. The brown spotty paper has a distressed look to it as it looks as though it has been sanded to take off some of the colour. I then used a brown ink pad to distress the edge of the ribbon and the image. I kept the colours and image male orientated so that I could also use it for this weeks Cards for Men challenge of Anything Goes. The ribbon reads Laughter is the closest distance between two friends.

Sparkly and Bright

Sorry about the picture it appears a bit darker than it really is but hey ho you can still see it. For this card I have used the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches, the sparkly and bright theme from Papertake weekly and the punches/diecuts theme from A Spoonful Of Sugar. I have used a punch to punch snowflakes from mirri card and white glitter paper and my nestabilities square to cut out the backing behind the snowflake. I then added some silver bows and little gems to add a little extra spakle.

Happy Christmas with lots of spots and stripes

I had a busy day today to make up for not doing much the last few days. So  here is the first card of the day. I have used the sketch from Just cute bears and the spots and stripes theme from Allsorts.

Passion For Promarkers Challenge - Pink and White Christmas

Well I had never really thought of Pink and White as Christmasy colours but when I started making this card I was really pleased with the outcome. I coloured the little girl with various pinks and my trusty blender pen. I think I would be lost without my blender pen now. Then I thought I would keep the card simple with a few pearls and a snowflake I punched from glitter card and layered up.

Little Vintage Girl challenge card

I am starting to get into the vintage theme. This is my second Vintage themed card and I really enjoyed making it. I have used the sketch from Cute Card Thursday, The Vintage theme from Charisma Cardz and the Brown and Blue colour scheme from Aifactory.

Purple, Aqua and White challenge

This little one took me a while. I had all the papers on the floor and had coloured the image with my Promarkers but for some reason it didnt look right. But after some tweeking I am quite happy with it. I used the Purple, Aqua and White colour theme from Colour Create and the sketch from Crafters Companion. I made the little flowers using the same colour papers as the background and finished it off with some white ribbon.

Cute Pumpkin Challenge Card

Well here is my fourth and final card from yesterday. I have used the cute pumpkin image from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. This image is lovely and works perfectly with promarkers. I also used the Boo-halloween theme from A Spoonful Of Sugar. I found some Halloween coloured papers in my craft stash which worked well with the image and some brown ribbon and little autumn leaves finished the card. The sketch is from Inspirational Card Sketches. I love this sketch it is very simple so shows off the image really well.

Baby Boom Challenge Card

Card number three and I love this little cutey perfect for a new baby boy or girl. I have used the Baby theme with an option of Gingham and Ribbon from Just Cute Bears. I also used the bingo board from Allsorts and chose the Punch, Tags and Ribbon line.

Boys and their toys challenge card

Well heres my second card from yesterdays card marathon and I have to say will be pefect for my Dads Birthday in December. I used the Boys and their toys challenge from Cupcake craft. The sketch is from an old challenge from Bevs crafts but I thought it was perfect for this card.

Crafty Cardmakers use a freebie Challenge

I loved this challenge from Crafty Cardmakers as it made me venture into my paper box and actually use some of the free papers I had in there. I'm not sure which magazine they are from but it was a pullout with papers and element sheets. I have also used a Precious Moments image which is a free colouring page from the internet.there are loads of them and they look lovely when coloured with Promarkers.

Secret Crafter Challenge Oriental

This one was a bit tricky I had the image and the lovely papers but it took me ages to figure out what to do with them. But after lots of rethinks I finally settled on this design which uses the Oriental theme form this weeks Secret Crafter Challenge.

Buzzy Bees Challenge Card

This is one of my latest challenge cards  and its quite a bit different from my usual cards but in this case I think different is good. I have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday, the whats buggin you theme from Cute Card Thursday, the More than one fold theme from Charisma Cards and the Fancy folds theme from Crafty Cardmakers.

Challenge Card - Let it snow

I used two themes for this card the first being Winter Wonderland and the second being Inspiration from a song. The song choice is Let it Snow by Dean Martin and I think the image really suits a Winter Wonderland theme. I used the lovely sketch from Quirky Craft as the image was quite big this sketch worked perfectly.

Halloween Challenge card

Well this one was a challenge as my printer decided to run out of ink just after I had chosen my creepy halloween backing papers. After rethinking my design I decided to use my promarkers to make my own. I chose a cute little Precious Moments witch and coloured her using my promarkers and a blender pen in the challenge colours from Passion for Promarkers. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday which I rotated to fit the image. I finished the card with some co-ordinating buttons and bows and the trusty promarkers were used to colour the gems to make them match.

Autumn card challenge

I have never made a seasoned themed card before so when I saw the Charisma Cardz challenge Autumn colours I thought I would have a go. I have also used the new sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches as I thought it worked really well with the style of the card.. The papers and image are downloads from craft magazines so it was a very cost effective card. The card has been finished with some tiny buttons and leaves which have been in my craft room for ages and a little gold bow.

Colour Create Challenge - Pink, Green and Cream

I used one of my My craft studio Cd's to create this card. I printed out lots of matching bits and layered them all up. The only extra bits are the little gems. It fitted the challenge perfectly as it uses all three of the challenge colours.

Challenge Card- Recycled

I have used the lovely sketch from sketch Saturday for this card. I also used the recycled theme from Passion For Promarkers for which I recycled some buttons off an old shirt. The little bear is coloured with Sandstone, Caramel and Satin Promarkers. His little bow is coloured with a Duck egg colour Promarker which matched the backing paper perfectly.

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 31 - Step away from the square

This is my take on the step away from the square challenge. I have used some pretty papers and finished with a button and a little ribbon keychain which can be removed. Giving a card and a little gift all in one.

Allsorts challenge plain and simple

A simple monochrome card perfect for any occasion.

Colour Create Challenge 54 All White

Promarker cards using a blender pen

I have recently started using a blender pen and with lots of practice and a fair few ruined images I think I am finally getting the hang of it. Here are my first two creations.
